Pastor's-Corner

We wanted to give some updates during this time when we must be apart. Please take time to read this important information.

CONNECTIONS

Considering recent events in our nation, we want to do all we can to keep our church family connected. You can already check for updates on the Northgate Church Dresden Facebook page and on the NCD website (northgatechurchdresden.com/social/) Now you can also sign up to get text updates—the method schools use to alert parents of snow days. Unlike regular texting, you will not respond to any messages you receive—it is simply a way to get messages to you.

To sign up for text updates:

Text the word Add to 740-251-4357. Within a few minutes, you will receive a text message that says, “You are on the list!”

Check with Ryan Cullins if you have any questions.

If you need to contact us, please call the church during the day (740-754-3330), or you may call or text us for emergencies at other times. Our phone numbers are 740-221-4223 (Melody) and 740-607-4409 (Mike).

FINANCES

We need to ask you to continue in your faithful giving to the church. As you will understand, our bills continue, even if we do not meet for Sunday services. If our giving declines, the church will be unable to meet its obligations. But we are confident that our Northgate family will rise to the occasion and financial support for our church will not be lacking.

There are two ways to give:
  1. Mail checks or money orders to Northgate Church, PO Box 83, Dresden, OH 43821; or
  2. Give online at northgatechurchdresden.com/give. Online giving is safe and secure.

TIMELINE FOR MEETING AGAIN

We hope to meet very soon! As we wait, remember that the same Lord who gives us faith also gives us wisdom. We want to act in the best interest of our Northgate family and not take unnecessary risks that may cause this virus to spread. Rest assured that we will come together again when this crisis has subsided. Until then, take advantage of Facebook Live feeds and look for posts on our Northgate Facebook page and on our website social feed. Remember to check up on your church family to make sure needs are being met. Let’s stand together and be stronger than we were before this crisis began!

Continue to pray for our nation, our communities and our church. Pray for a quick resolution to this health crisis, for wisdom for our leaders and for health and economic stability for our families. God WILL make a way as we hold onto the hope of a mighty outpouring of His Spirit!

With love,

Pastors Mike & Melody
